Mr. Dimitris Toutouzas, son of the late Professor of Cardiology at the University of Athens, Pavlos Toutouzas, and the economics expert, Eleni Toutouza-Pantazopoulou, and father of two children himself, is a businessman in the field of Medical Technology and Pharmaceutical Research and Development of the respective products. He is a graduate of the Guildhall University in England in the field of Business Administration and holds a master's degree in Management. He has been an athlete and President of the Basketball Sports Association of Cholargos in Athens. Mr. Dimitris Toutouzas has a long tenure and career in the wider Local Municipal Administration. In 2006, he was elected for the first time as a Municipal Councillor of the Municipality of Cholargos, a position he has held for 17 years. He was re-elected in 2010 to the unified Municipality of Papagos-Cholargos, where he served as Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Technical Works and Constructions. Since 2019 he is the head of the major opposition with the “SYN-POLIS” party, with which he is a Candidate for Mayor of the Municipality of Papagos-Cholargos in the elections which will take place on October 8, 2023.
